Pat and Dandy's - Bar Rescue Update

 In this week's episode of Bar Rescue, Bar Rescue is in Toledo, Ohio to rescue Pat and Dandy's.  This is another rescue where Jon Taffer is not there, but he sends Phil Wills to do the rescue.  The staff at the bar is untrained and they are taking advantage of the owner.  To stop the bar from losing money, they will need to turn things around.

During the Bar Rescue makeover, the show decided to keep the name of Pat and Dandy's. Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates for Pat and Dandy's since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar (All reviews are post-Bar Rescue):

Decided to try pat and dandy's again after the bar rescue... we are Dolphins fans so we came in to watch the game and were told we couldn't sit at the bar tables (best tables to see and hear game) because we were not part of the "fan club" wtf... so we took our business elsewhere will never return...."
• "Disgusting to watch the cook and wait staff constantly sit out on the patio smoking. Bet none of them washed their hands. Bar Rescue evidently didn't teach them that appearances mean a lot to new customers. Food was ok but had already lost our appetite."
• "We had heard that they were in the TV show Bar Rescue so we wanted to check it out. Ummm , if they changed anything it was some paint and wallpaper and added some TV's. The place still looks rundown, the food was still just ok and the service while friendly, was very slow and our server forgot part of every order. Won't be going back. Sorry to see the place get so rundown"

Conclusion:

Bar Rescue decided to keep the name of Pat and Dandy's and the makeover was done over a year before the episode aired.  The reviews for Pat and Dandy's are mixed with people liking the food and there being mixed reviews on the quality of the Bar Rescue makeover.  Pat and Dandy's seems like a bar that caters to their regulars, so it upset people when they thought prices at the bar increased.  The bar is also a Miami Dolphins bar, which also supports the concept that they cater to their regulars who come to watch all of the football games.
