During the Bar Rescue makeover, Jon Taffer decided to keep the name of Britestar Tavern. Let's take a look at some information, reviews, and updates for Britestar Tavern since Bar Rescue came and made all of the changes to the bar (All reviews are post-Bar Rescue):

Conclusion:
Jon Taffer and Bar Rescue decided to keep the name of Britestar Tavern and the reviews for the bar are mostly positive since the Bar Rescue makeover. It appears that the owner Jim sold the bar just three months after Bar Rescue came to the bar, so most of the reviews for the bar are under new ownership. The new owners have kept the name and the bar still only serves beer. Britestar Tavern will be marked as 'Sold' on the Bar Rescue Updates page.
