Bar Rescue - The Legacy Bar & Grille (Game Time Sports Grill) Update

On tonight's episode of Bar Rescue, Jon Taffer and crew are in Arlington, Tennessee to rescue Game Time Sports Grill.  Game Time Sports Grill is a bar that is run by Cody, but his belligerent father is causing issues at the bar.  The kitchen is filthy at Game Time and the cook has a short temper.  To turn this bar around, Jon Taffer needs to clean up the bar and figure out a way to make the family work together.

During the Bar Rescue makeover, Jon Taffer changed the name of Game Time Sports Grill to The Legacy Bar & Grill and the bar has kept the name. • "Decent decor and service was good. Food was prepared properly and tasty. My wife had the Chicken Philly and tots and they were very good. I had the Fried Catfish with Onion Straws, cooked perfectly and crispy. Only drawbacks, they did not have tartar sauce and siracha for my fish but I made due."

• "Ordered 40 piece wings for takeout. They were AWFUL! Some weren't even done all the way!!! Not to mention the staff wasn't friendly... at least the celery & carrots were nice & fresh."
• "Looked like a good place to watch the game. I liked the Bartender, Server, & the interior. But the beer wasn't cold. Menu was shrunk to 5"x7" & the print was too small to read. So I left."

He has also attacked other employees in a fit of rage. Anyway...Atmosphere is dark and like a bar. Food is surprisingly very good for bar food. This is my honest opinion based on my experience at this place."

Beer was actually warm to me but the glasses were clean. Noticed there were multiple taps but most were empty. My girl friend said the bathrooms were filthy which was really unexpected since the place had been renovated 3 days earlier. I doubt ibwill be returning."
• "My Fiance and I went Friday night. Horrible service. Our waitress knew nothing about the menu nor what was served at the bar. I ordered my meal and order tater tots with cheese.. They were newked SO bad."

My wife had country fried steak that was fair but her side of corn was definitely straight from the can.. $32.00 for that was just ridiculous!!! Never going back. • "Worst experience ever!! They had a Monday night football special on draft beer, at 7:30 they supposedly ran out of draft beer. Our server was not only new, I am pretty sure she has never smiled before in her life. We had 8 orders and she messed up 5 of them. Initially she blamed the kitchen staff than finally admitted it was her. Food was pretty bland, not all that impressed."

• Legacy Bar responded to a negative review right after the makeover stating, "We have adds out for more servers and cooks. We were also given a guide book of systems, that we are working in implementing. We wish things could change over night, like they appear on the show, but there has definitely been an adjustment period. We hope that you will come back to see us, once we have these systems in place."
• Cody had a baby a few weeks after the episode was filmed at the bar.

Conclusion:

Legacy Bar & Grille has kept the name given to them by Bar Rescue and the reviews for the bar since the makeover are mixed.  People seem to like the bands and atmosphere while there are complaints about the service and empty beer taps.  Judging by their social media, the bar seems satisfied with the makeover and they are excited to see their episode air on TV.
